One of the fastest, easiest ways to quickly get out of a pissy mood, and into a more positive state, is to change your physiology. You can do this a number of ways, but my favourite is rebounding!
Remember those tiny little trampolines from the 80's? They were all the rage for a while when leg warmers and aerobics were the in thing. Luckily, rebounders are making a comeback! You can pick one up at fitness supply store about $25 (higher quality ones are better and are available from $150-$400), and most can slide easily under your bed if you're short on storage space.
If you buy a new one, it will likely come with a handy instruction guide full of exercises you can do on it. All you really need to do to reap the benefits is jump straight up and down. No co-ordination required (I'm in!).
How to use a rebounder:
1. Stand in the middle of the teeny trampoline.
2. Jump (weeee!)
3. Repeat for 5-10min
Why is rebounding so awesome?
I'm a big advocate for daily (or at least regular) rebounding. It's an easy way to add more activity into your day that gives you instant energy. Try it first thing in the morning to get your ass in gear, or during the dreaded afternoon slump around 3pm. It can also quickly raise where you are on the vibrational scale, taking you from a low level vibe (anger, frustration, just plain ol' blah) to a higher, more productive state (yippee!). Take it one step further and bounce to upbeat music, or repeat a positive affirmation while you literally jump for joy.
